V&V Automation
A flexible test automation framework for verifying embedded firmware and hardware. The system automates test execution, communicates with the embedded device, evaluates measured results against defined criteria, records test evidence, and generates engineering reports.
What It Does
The V&V Automation system provides a repeatable method for executing verification tests on embedded products. Test cases and acceptance criteria are defined in configuration files, allowing engineers to execute tests consistently without manually entering test parameters for every run.
The PC application sends test commands to the embedded device, receives measured results, evaluates the results against expected values and tolerances, and automatically records PASS or FAIL results.
At the completion of a test session, the system can automatically generate traceable test evidence in multiple formats.
