I. INTRODUCTION:

1. The programs and applications on this CD-ROM are tested in Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Visual C++ .Net (and Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0), MATLAB 7, and MATLAB Compiler 4.0. The codes on CD-ROM are complied with the MATLAB directory C:\MATLAB7, if your MATLAB directory is different, please set your projects by following the procedure in the setting chapter 3 or chapter 5.

2. After copying the files into your computer, uncheck READ ONLY in the property dialog before executing the project.

3. Most example projects on this CD-ROM are Microsoft Visual C++ .Net projects. If your project is a Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0, copy the files Example.cpp, Example.h, and mxUtilityCompilerVer4.h (or mwUtilityCompilerVer4.h) to your project and build your project (please see the remark in chapter 3).

4. All the examples are carefully tested and worked fine in our computer. If you have any error or warning when you compile, please email to us at LePhan@LePhanPublishing.com. We greatly appreciate your feed back for our book.
